3rd Annual ADA Fair
What a success!!
IEC’s 3rd Annual ADA Fair, held on July 25th, at the Harris Pavilion in Old Town Manassas, was a great success. This was because the entertainment was great fun–the Happy Hoofers of Manassas were terrific, as were the two local bands, Stir Fry and Jericho Ditch.
Our Grand Raffle was sponsored by Best Buy and was a Wii and a Wii Fit! Thank you for your generous donation, Best Buy! Remarkably, the wiis were won by Dee Notto whose husband had just won $42 in our 50/50 raffle (which he donated back to IEC-thanks Mr. Notto!) The two raffles tickets were pulled from two different buckets by two different children, which made the fact that spouses were pulled so remarkable!
Auction items were happily collected by all of the winners. Some fierce competion transpired, especially for some of the jewelry items and also for a wonderfully soft gorilla donated by ABC123 Little Leaners.
All in all, it was as predicted, the best ADA Fair so far. Just wait for next year!
