Wednesday, June 24th, from 5-7 is our Annual Meeting. All are welcome. The meeting will be at the Sudley North Building, 7987 Ashton Ave., Manassas, VA 20109, in the Jean McCoy Room (first door on the right). If you are a member of IEC, you have voting privileges. If you want to become a member of IEC, call 703-257-5400. Annual membership dues are $5 and can be waived if necessary.
Our Annual Meeting is yet another time to get together. We want to hear your thoughts and would love to see all of your friendly faces. A light dinner will be provided, so reservations by June 22nd are a must. Please come, whether or not you have signed up for membership. Our consumers are why we exist. We need to hear from you about your vision for people with disabilities in your community. Please let us know if you need any accommodations. We hope to see you there.

Q: How do I apply for a ramp or bathroom modification?
A: First, you must get a prescription from a doctor or therapist. You will need documentation from them explaining why it is needed and how it relates to your disability. The prescription can be faxed to Roberta or Jane (depending on who you work with at IEC) one of them will then contact the Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Provider. Some of these providers are Project Mend-A-House, Access 1st, East Coast Rehab, Mobility Center of VA and Rehab Equipment Professionals. Some Assistive Technology Providers are VATS, Technical Medical Services.
