
Dr. Mary D. Lopez graduated from Woodbridge High School (and found her way back to Prince William County 30 years later!) and Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA. She earned her Masters and Doctorate degrees in Sociology from Northwestern University.

Pat has lived in Prince William County, Fauquier County and Manassas areas for over 50 years.
She began her job career as a receptionist at a privately owned nursing home while attending high school. After graduation from Osbourn High School, she began working at Northern Virginia Community college as a clerk typist for several health technology related programs. From there, she changed positions and worked in a civilian capacity as a secretary for the United States Navy and later as an executive secretary at the United States Department of State. After becoming a single parent, Pat decided to work closer to home to be able to spend more time with her daughter. She worked for the Department of Corrections, in retail, and computer sales and service.
