What Makes a Good Day? by Roberta McEachern
At the end of the day on December 28th I was really happy about the day’s outcome.
So what makes a good day?
A Good day is when you wake up and give thanks for the day whether sunshine, rain, or snow.
A Good day is when you walk in the office and there is an air of happiness and productivity.
A Good day is when everything I work on gets done in a timely fashion, without any mistakes.
A Good day is when the phone is not ringing off the hook… with payroll problems.
A Good day is when there are Waiver approvals waiting for me when I come in the office.
A Good day is when I call the Department of Medical Assistance Services and get through on the first try, and speak to a real live person.
A Good day is when I make someone’s life a little easier with a smile and a kind word.
A Good day is when my job makes a difference in someone’s life outlook.
