New Logo Unveiled by Mary D. Lopez, Ph.D.

It may catch your eye on business cards, flyers and our newsletters. It’s new, fresh, and representative of what this non-profit is all about.

Mary Lopez and Cynthia Rouillard

Our center has a first ever logo! As an organization that serves people with disabilities, our staff and board thought we needed a logo that reflected who we are and what we do. This is why we pursued a design that was done for us, at a reduced cost, by Storm Graphic Arts. I met owner, Cynthia Rouillard at a Prince William Regional Chamber of Commerce event. Another Chamber partnership was born and history was created.

The new logo depicts five symbols (artwork in blue)—a child with crutches, a blind person, a person with a non-apparent disability (such as intellectual, mental health, seizure or cardiac disability), a person using a wheelchair and the ASL symbols for IEC.

We are grateful to Storm Graphic Arts for the creation of our new logo that truly does reflect the people we serve.
