I just opened my email to see another 25 had arrived from banks and credit unions–most were from Virginia Credit Union.  If you go to Virginia Credit Union’s website, you will see that even they warn you about the scam being perpetuated in their name.  Those from VCU and emails purportedly from Nigeria or the West Coast of Africa or even United Kingdom Lotteries continue to flood our email accounts.  Just remember, if it sounds too good to be true–and it’s coming to you through your email account–it is too good to be true.  Don’t allow yourself to be the victim of a con artist.
